Hello internet, and welcome to my blog! I'm Jessica, your gracious cyber host and want to say thank you for checking out my blog.
I'm starting this blog because journaling is supposed to be good for the soul. The last year and a half have been difficult. I went back to working outside the home full time for the fist time in almost a decade, our family budget busted, I just found out I have celiac disease, and worst of all my mom died. πππ
My favorite analogy of my life right now is that if I lived in a snow globe, it's been picked up and shaken. Over and over and over. When I feel like I'm getting my footing, it gets picked up and shaken all over again.
So here I am, listening to advice I keep reading over and over, but haven't really acted upon. Journaling. I decided to do it publicly for a few reasons. One, I might actually stick to it this way. Two, it might be helpful to someone else. And three, well, why not? I've always wanted to blog but never really had much to say.
Now I got a lot of stuff I can ramble on about. Grief. So much grief. I need to lose weight. Like a lot. Lots more on that coming soon I'm sure. My house is a total wreck right now, so I might as well let you see that hot mess too. My faith - it's a work in progress. I CAN"T EAT GLUTEN ANYMORE! Throw in my dear husband, a gaggle of kids (we have 6 π€―) and life in general, and I guess I'll have lots to over share.
So there you have it. I hope you enjoy the ride with me π
